Hi Jim, Just a thought about work benches... years ago, i bought a used ,solid core, steel-clad door for a work bench. The advantages are many... flat, impervious to drips of _anything_ , I have a few things with magnetic bases, so they don't move around from vibrations. I attached it to a heavy ( used ) wooden table that I was using previously.
