dealer's free tuning was No-Shows in the New Year

In regards to dealer's free tuning, I give the new customer one free tuning
when they buy or rent a piano from me. I have had no shows for this, so on the
bottom of the sales and rental contracts is this statement. "The free tuning
is for your protection and convenience. If you do not call us before the tuner
gets to your house, you will loose your free tuning. Please call (my phone #)
to reschedule the appointment". I still have a no show occasionally, but at
least I don't have to make two trips to give a free tuning.

BTW, my movers were also upset that customers would not be home to have the
piano delivered. So on the contract I also have this statement. "The piano is
moved by an outside contractor. If you are not home when the piano is
scheduled to be delivered, you will be charged an additional $100. Please call
(the mover's phone #) to reschedule to appointment." This has all but
eliminated the no shows for the movers.
