Kawai verticle damper problem? I'm stumped.

Hi Garret,
     If the pedal rod mounting brackets are all tight and nothing from
the piano is bearing against the rod, it could be the action is being
flexed by a mispositioned tenor break action bracket (too high, or
forced in too far). With pedal rods in, loosen bracket nut and move the
bracket in and out alittle which will flex the action and all the while
check for even damper lift.
