Friends- For what it's worth, I too have seen a Kemble grand. It was in the living room of a person I had just been introduced to, and I didn't really feel at liberty to examine it. It was about 6', and had a peculiar veneer and finish which I didn't care for--flat-sawn oak, I think, in a very dark stain which gave a high contrast between early- and late-wood. Ick.
