Once upon a time, faced with a sticky action and (gasp) no alcohol & water solution, I resorted to desperate measures. Cruisin' down to the local retailer of distilled spirits, I picked up a pint bottle of cheap 80 proof vodka, and used it straight. It worked so well, I started using it regularly. Even added a few drops of silicone (back when I allowed the stuff in the same room as a piano), but since it made no difference I could discern, I stopped doing that. Besides, when it does work, you don't want to have polluted your only opportunity for a celebratory swig. Silicone leaves such a nasty oily scum in the mouth. Steve
