Strangely enough, not really a problem ... the heat goes, the tuning revives ...
Go figure! Now if you were to tune just after the hairdryer (I have, a
number of times) you might have to go over the tenor 1/2 hour after
"blowdrying".

P.S. the only "real" cure for seizing plastic flanges is to replace the lot.
