Temperaments

>From Bill's post:

The piano used in the "What d'ya Know?" show, which was
libelously and
hostilely condemned in this list by the all-powerful and
all-knowing Gina
Carter, is normally tuned by Daniel P. Eberhardy RPT who tunes the
very finest
unisons I have ever heard. The show does not always eminate from
Madison. It
travels around the country. Whatever conditions there are elswhere
are what
prevail in those venues. The show is also not live every week. It
is often a
	rerun, sometimes a non-Madison rerun.

I can attest that Daniel is the most remarkable tuner I have ever
encountered in my life. If I were a wealthy touring concert pianist, he
would be my tuner.

Therefore I can only assume the transmission was faulty. Daniel used to
tune for me, for home and concert, and I miss his tunings dreadfully. He
has a God-given ability to hear what is going on throughout the entire
piano, that which we pluck our way about using our machines to help us
hear.

I'm sorry to hear about his fall and hope that he recovers quickly.

Bill, Would you have the numbers for Daniel's tunings? At least the
temperament octave, for I understand that he tunes to the individual piano.

Best, ab
