I just replaced the spring cord on the Knabe grand reps (Thanks to the
Divine S Kline for thetrick in getting a point on the cord). Drilling out
the original cord (with a numbered bit maybe 2/3 the dia of the hole in the
wood) was a snap. I'd be interested to hear of your difficulty with it.
