This is   perhaps why Charles Ives wrote some of the piano pieces he did-using
pianos tuned a quarter-tone apart and some Orchestral music with one half of
the orchestra in one key and the other half in  another.  Opens new doors for
musicologists.

Try listening to his Fourth of July or his 4th Symphony, oh yee disbelievers.
