Susan, My spell checker in Microsoft Word 97 fails to recognize sostenuto as correct, and it has no suggestions to offer. All the other Italian terms I feed it pass the spell checker. Shall I try feeding it a Newton? (Incidentally, Newton passed the spell checker. Shall I Hunt for anything further?)
