Magnets

   Does anyone know why, or how to stop, the magnet on my Lowell Gauge
from swiveling almost everytime it's set down on two strings? I'm
*trying* to set the bearing on acu-just hitch pins and it won't stay in
position.
   Also the magnet isn't wide enough for certain areas and it falls
through the strings unless you severely angle it. Then that changes the
downbearing reading.
