cents to cps .... need help.

Hi Richard:

When Wm Braid White (that great writer of the Piano Tuning and Allied Arts
book) mentioned the 8:9 ratio is 204 cents, he meant that the major 2nd 
interval (the one with the 8:9 ratio) is 204 cents wide. ie From C to D
is 204 cents when the interval is beatless at their respective coincident
partials, the 9th of C against the 8th of D.

I have included a program written in Basic which computes Hz to Cents 
for your convenience. This program is an attachment to this post.
You should be able to use the info from the program text to setup your
own spreadsheet program to do the same. It is called Hz2cents.Bas
