Dear Richard,

I speaking from what I see in the trade, conventions etc. Discussions of
"geometry" always focus on spread, straight line rule etc. as if these
things always need fixing.  

My experience is that they hardly ever need fixing whereas leverage and
static weight components almost always need fixing.

leverage and static weight components need to be included under the heading
of "geometry".
