To whom, The 1998 Central West Regional Seminar is now in memory. We got snowed at, but not out and those who made it seemed to think it was worth the process. That and the fact that we don't seem to have lost money makes the whole thing a success. Truly heroic, near miraculous, attempts were made by some to circumvent closed airports, canceled flights, and standby rides clogged to capacity with spring break traffic, to get here. On behalf of the Wichita chapter, and myself, I would like to extend many thanks for all who fought their way here, gave their time and talents and so freely shared the information it took so many years and 'ouchies' to accumulate. I'd like to thank those who came to attend classes and learn. You all made this shindig a success. I'd also like to extend a rather industrial strength thanks to Keith McGavern, who passed out evaluation forms for each class, generally volunteered if something looked like it needed doing, and even tuned one of the pianos to heal it up from a weekend of tuning demonstrations - all this after he PAYED to attend, and drove in in a BLIZZARD! Too amazing, but that doesn't get you any immunity from abuse on this list, Keith, so quit smirking. Besides, I suspect you just wanted a chance to play with the RCT. %-) PS: All you folks I met this weekend who lurk but don't post, I know you are out there now - Jump in here and get some on you. These lists are low cost, high return, perpetual interactive freeform seminars that can clear up some of the questions you thought of in Wichita this weekend. Tell us what you learned. We might need to know too. Ron Nossaman
