I know as a pianist that many passages, particularly in Beethoven with his heavy bass figurations, are almost impossible to play on a modern piano. I learned this years ago when I played Kenneth Drakes piano and was shocked to find I could actually play some of those passages. The tones of the heavy bass sonorities were actually clear instead of just alot of powerful mud. Mike Jorgensen RPT
