This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment Dear List, Here is a forwarded message from Skip Becker. It refers to a regular contributor of this List, Paul Bailey RPT. It also responds to a question from Jim Coleman about the Florida State Seminar. As President of the Madison Chapter, I have just returned from a field trip with my Chapter and some members from nearby Chapters to the Walter Piano Factory in Elkhart, Indiana. I will have a report for you soon. It was a very positive experience for all. Charles Walter has agreed to the use of one of his new Grand Pianos in the upcoming Annual Convention in Providence where there will be a program hosted by SkipBecker and featuring guest speaker, Professor Owen Jorgensen RPT, called a "Festival of Temperaments". The seminar in Florida gave a preview of that. The Walters were very impressed with the sound of their piano tuned in the Equal-Beating Victorian Temperament which I will demonstrate in Providence. It will be but one of the innovative tunings that you will hear. Read what Skip had to say about Paul Bailey RPT and Karen Hudson-Brown RPT who will each be presenting their own state-of-the art tuning innovations: ---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment An embedded message was scrubbed...
