A question on Dampp-Chaser installation. Has anyone left the registering
thermometer/hygrometer unit in the piano, for say a week, as a method of
confirming that the location of the humidistat is correct?
Regards,
John M. Ross

John, I don't think that's as accurate a test as observing the actual
pitch change behavior of the piano. It's the stability of the soundboard
that is the most direct criterion for the correct placement of the
humidistat.
