Loctite also makes a product that could be useful. You coat the male threads with a parting agent, then completely fill the hole with the Loctite product and screw in the male part. You then let it cure, and you can unscrew the parts like regular machined threaded parts. The tensile strength is very good, and it is much easier than the helicoil type repairs.
