John and list,
I generally agree but I'm partial to my new Toshiba SATELLITE
4015cds. It has all you mentioned and more but with the newer pentium II!
It's great and it runs all my apps better even than my homme machine. It
cost me $1,500 only 3 weeks ago. It runs the soon to be registered TUNELAB
really well. As long as I'm on the subject ... for those of you who are in
to mobile offices, I highly recommend that you check out FileMaker Pro for
your customer database. It is fully configurable to any form you wish and
is fully relational and you don't have to have a degree in computer science
to design your own database. Try it you'll like it.
                                        Greg Newell
