CAREFUL about feeding this glue to dogs.

I also used to do a lot of player work with hide glue. I noticed that one
brand gave me tremendous headaches, another brand did not. In checking this
out (years ago) I was told by the glue suppliers that the Federal government
(OSHA) now made it mandatory for the hide glue to have an anti-bacterial
substance in it, so that no nasty things grew and hurt workers. It was that
chemical that gave me the headaches, not the pure glue. I cannot say for sure
that the information is correct, - it would be nice to know if it was.

BUT!
