I don't tune the way I do to make the piano sound strange or extreme, but to make it sound better in tune with itself. ET is assumed to be the very best compromise. Also, the conservative octaves that most people use are too. I simply think I have come up with something that actually is a better compromise as far as the music which is to be played goes. It is very difficult however to tell people that. Just doing it almost always proves the point. I'd like to get more opportunity to use my system with real concert artists.
