List, I just read somewhere that cleaning solutions that contain alcohol should be avoided when cleaning piano keys. However, I was taught to clean ivories with pure alcohol, which works great. I tried cleaning plastic tops also with straight alcohol and found it to be good for that also. Was I misled or is there truth to avoiding alcohol on keys? Thanks for the info.
