S&S green goop

Yes.

Remove every spring from it's seat.
>From the top side use a small brass brush to remove the goop.
Turn the aciton up sdie down and use a thinned #1 or #2 pencil to
clean and lubricate seats.
Replace springs and regulate.
Simple, fast, effective.
