Don't forget to consider to very important factors:

1. Any benefits offered, i.e. medical, pension, etc.  You may or may not be
doing better now.
2. Cost of living changes.  Check to see if it is more or less expensive to
live there.  This is particularly important for housing.
3.  Work load.  Will you be working any harder for your money?
