Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky, invites applications for a position as Keyboard Technician in the Department of Music. Responsibilities: Establishes and coordinates a regular tuning and maintenance schedule; develops and presents a long-range plan for repair, rebuilding, and replacement of keyboard inventory; develops and implements courses in keyboard maintenance and tuning; tunes and regulates keyboard instruments for performance; and performs other job-related duties. Qualifications: Registered Piano Technician membership and active participation in the Piano Technicians Guild required. Documented completion of appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent training. Minimum of five years of active experience in tuning, routine, repair, voicing, regulating and minor/major rebuilding. Desired Qualifications: Skills in the repair of wind, percussion, and stringed instruments.
