Brian;
  Since I have been out of hand for a few days I got a chance to read your
original post and all of the fine replies from others. The only thing I might
add to what already has been said is that 'you' are your competition and not
your fellow techs.

 Your fellow techs are an asset to cherish and protect and not your tooth and
claw competitors....while it is true that you 'all' do tuning not 'all' are
Brian or John or Ben, and we each have our own individual strengths and
weaknesses.

  Take your customers as they come to you, treat your colleagues as you would
like to be treated, and if one of them climbs the Miff tree let it be his/her
problem, don't make it yours.
