if it worked

I would like to thank those of you who contribute to this list. I read
it everyday(lurk?) but don't respond so as not to clog the list. I
recently did the CA repair to an upright that had one pin that
absolutely wouldn't hold at all. Client was an elementary school Music
teacher with a degree in piano performance. Without the repair I
couldn't have tuned it and it would have been junk. I must confess that
upon first reading about the CA pin block doping procedure I wasn't
entirely sure that you guys weren't pulling my leg. But I had the
Dryburg Adhesive kit that was sold at Providence for other repairs and I
waited until the right situation came up that I could try it on. Worked
like a charm.
Thanks guys for sharing...even if it does seem to draw the ire of
some...most of the rest of us benefit.
