No, Anderson & Co. decided to start numbering at #45,000 
there first year possibly so it looked like they had built a lot of 
pianos?  The Pierce Atlas is not to be taken as gospel 
folks...just a close approximation in general and very accurate 
with some manufacturers such as Steinway...
