Sandblasting Revisited

After reading newest copy of PTG Journal, got interested in sandblasting of 
action parts.  

Question:  Do you remove parts (whippens, hammer butts, etc) from action 
frame or just put the whole thing in a cabinet.  

Also can anybody give me the address of the search engine for piano archives.
