Hey Tom, get one of the factory stringers to help you. They can strip, clean and restring a piano in six to seven hours. Get in touch with A&C, they will give the numbers of a couple of stringers. If the pianos have 0/2 pins in the block go to 0/4 pins. Same length as the original. Japanese pins can be had from Pianotek, Brooks, Schaff and Pacific. Buy damper felts from S&S. They come precut and are of a good quality. Treble string spacing. Take a soundboard steel, put masking tape on it, tape this to the treble hammer shanks so the end does not protrude past the last note, mark the center of the drop screws for the three hammers in the upper agraffe section and the ones in the other upper sections. You now have a scale stick that you can use to space and align the treble strings to where they should be. Lots of luck. Newton
