---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment Newton, Thanks for your letter, but I haven't found this to be the case in using it over l2 years now on many actions. It stays on the flange far better then brown paper (or newspaper) once it is screwed back on the action and "pressed" on. Whenever I have to remove a hammer flange with brown or newspaper, it almost always falls off which is annoying. I am sure some of the glue will ooze out on the sides, but I cannot believe that 100% of it does. Regardless, I just haven't seen the thickness diminish over time requiring more traveling. John Ford thought it was superior to brown tape and so do I. As someone else already pointed out, I don't like using my tongue for licking all that brown tape.
