IT'S TRUE!! Due to the overwhelming response to the 'Big Band' at the Yamaha Reception last year in Providence, we have decided to make it a tradition. Anyone interested in 'tooting their own horn' in Kansas City is cordially invited to bring it with 'em. Realizing there are some horns too large to just toss in the plane as luggage, such as a Bari Sax, please let me know, and I will make sure you have something to blow.
We will have charts, but if anyone has scores they think would be just too good to leave home, bring them too! Let's make this year's reception the very best ever. There is an amazing pool of talent out there, and it is our extreme pleasure to provide a forum for some our fabulously talented instrumentalists! Please spread the word.

Musically yours,

If you weren't in Providence last year, you missed the best reception Yamaha
has ever done, and they've done some super ones over the years.

Just talked with Mark Wisner who confirmed that Yamaha will have that great
big band again at their reception in KC this year. Mark said to tell
everyone to bring their horns. What an opportunity, in addition to lots of
learning opportunities you are actually invited to blow your own horn. :-)
