Samick, and other manufacturers, use this 'delivered to' clause in their warranty. We can assume that there are many reasons for this clause, one being that repairs/warranty work beyond a certain point are just not economical from the customer's point of view when all factors are considered. Most customers will opt to pay for any repair, below a certain level, rather than go to the trouble and expense of shipping a piano back to the manufacturer. This is a catch 22 situation for you so be careful and keep good records of all conversations with anyone connected with this particular claim. Jim Bryant (FL)
