Baldwins cost more to tune?

Halloween does bring 'em out.

>From my experience Baldwins are not hard to tune, they are hard to hear.

Dry, nasaley, thin treble, quick decay but good bass.  Then some are real
nice.

Howard was their second line, so not as much effort was put into them but
that should not affect their ability to hold a tuning.

In short, the answer to your question is: no.
