Clark,

I have sung Schoenberg, and play Webern, but wasn't terribly satisfied.
I can musically comprehend 12 tone, and similar atonal offerings, but
can't like enough to buy an album of it. . . . It simply doesn't leave me
uplifted emotionally. Intellectually it's a challenge, and there's some
pleasure in that, but I don't consume it regularly. Do you know what I
mean?
I still gravitate to tonal music, well formed and heartily done.
