Hello, Ken

I would suggest gluing a block of scrap hammer felt to the bottom of the
keybed above the sustaining pedal lever. Make it thick enough that the trap
lever is stopped before the damper lift tray can jam the underlevers
against the upstop rail.

The scrap hammer felt provides a good sturdy stop block, which is quiet as
well. I find white glue good enough to glue it. If I want to gild the lily
and have it set up fast, I smear the white glue on the felt, and then add a
drop or two of CA glue just before pressing it to the underside of the piano.
