Removing burrs on capstans?

Doug,

We use a buffing machine to polish the capstans on most pianos. It works
well. We tend to use a worn or smaller wheel (stitched) to prevent touching
the key stick. Also rub a bit of teflon powder into the capstan felt to
complete the job.
