Burrs on capstans

Thanks to everyone offering their take on removing burrs from capstans.  I
"De toured" into De Tar land and got myself a 6" x 1/2" maroon 3M high
strength disc (this disc is made from the Scotch Brite fabric), part
#00490151 from MSC Industrial Supply Comp., $1.77/ea., and slapped it
opposite my buffing wheel.  No burrs and a mirror finish.
