Hi all:
Just a note to remind everyone that sometimes in the bottom of an old =
player piano there might be lead oxide, a white powder, that has fallen =
from corroded lead tubing and elbows used on some players, but not all. =
I try not to breathe it in and vacuum it up, rather than blow it away =
with compressed air. I know a few player techs I suspect of being =
"mad-as-a-hatter" caused by this poison (although the Hatter was =
poisoned by mercury!).
