String breakage in relation to hammer mass

Heavier hammers produce louder tones.  The rest is obvious.

Higher tension scales will produce more string breakage.  Higher
tension is produced by longer strings.

Strings of any size will break at the same pitch regardless of length.

Kawais have higher tension scales, Yamahas and Steinways lower,
generally speaking.
