I don't think you were unclear in your request.  What is unclear is why
you think you need to go outside the area to find someone to provide for
your needs.  There are technicians right here, right now who are
servicing the Symphony, Zellerbach Hall and the many other performance
venues and artists.  Are they unsatisfied?  Not from what I hear. 
Before assuming that the grass is greener, you might want to try looking
in your own back yard.
