Anybody had any experience with Piantek's adjustable bench #225a (p. D-2). The lady at Pianotek said the mechanism was steel, but couldn't tell me anything more about its general quality beyond the comment that cranking it was harder than the benches on the previous page. From the photo, the legs do not appear to be joined with the standard corner brace and hanger bolt combo. Would #225a survive in a teacher's studio. It's certainly not stage quality.
