I never saw an I&P from Q1 of this century which didn't have a dead board.
How's yours? I&P's grand cases were always right up to snuff, right up
there with thier vertical cases. But it seemed there was something about
putting a board into a vertical case, which they weren't getting right with
their grand rims.

I&P made their pianos with great pride, but among the local (Boston) makers
in that era, I liked HF Miller more.
