Thank you, Jim. Also thank you to the people, who replied to the Upright Damper flange question. I can still only see two examples, of damper flanges, one for spinets and one for uprights. Oh yes there is the Steinway double one as well. Is there a demand for flanges with the slot to flange pin distance being less, or is it just the older ones, I run into from time to time? It shouldn't be to hard for the manufacturer's to vary the distance for the drilling of the pin holes. Has anyone tried, drilling the holes in flange for the pin in a different place and rebushing the hole. Possibly removing the bushing cloth and filling the origional hole with epoxy. Oh yes, on some of the answers, I don't think that the people realized that it was for a damper flange on a large upright. Regards, John M.
