Lacquer, black, spraying

I'll bet you have a Sherwin Williams store near you; they sell black lacquer
by the gallon. While I've used that in the past, I've come to prefer a
catalyed varnish over a primer by ChemCraft (address and number on request -
it's out in the shop), but it will cost you quite a bit more.

If you're attempting a high polyesther type gloss finish there will be some
buffing equipment you'll need as well....
