Et Al; I am in the process of rebuilding a S&S model 'V'. When pulling the plate out, so I can replace the pinblock, I noticed that there were what seems to me to be an extraordinary number of screws!! The model 'V' is a 48" or 49" upright, depending on how you measure it :-) The plate has a total of 50 screws and 3 plate nuts/nose bolts !! Does this seem like an unusually large number of fasteners to anyone but me?? Jim Bryant (FL)
