Dear List -

I really appreciate the information that comes across pianotech... thanks
so much to all of your for your contributions!

I have a client that wanted me to help him replace some string on a
Horner "clavinette" [not sure if I have the spelling right here]. It was
made in Germany in the 70's. I have not seen the instrument myself yet.
Just talked about it on the phone with him. It is portable and the way
that it sounds, harpsichord wire could work. Who is good supplier of
harpsichord wire? The instrument has electronic pick ups, similar to an
electric guitar. Nothing on the web under "Horner"... didn't they make
slew of band instruments at one time?

If anybody has a good supplier for harpsichord wire or any experience or
info on this instrument, it would be appreciated.

Thanks!
