Here's something I haven't seen mentioned. I put the tilter behind the piano and use two oak wedges under each 'hook' so that the wheels and tilter are on the ground at the same time. I had one get away from me once, luckily it was in my shop and the plate was out of it, so I caught it! Don't try this at home. Ken Jankura
