This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I have Dean's "Tuning Manager" program for which I paid $295. It did = the basic stuff but was not really finished. No updates were ever = offered. In discussions with him he essentially just abandoned the = program. It is in written in MSDOS and I found to my dismay that it only works = with the MIDIater (?) that he sold and the MidiQuest card I used to have = in my computer. When I updated my motherboard I eliminated the = duplication of Midi ports and have a standard MPU401 port on a = SoundBlaster board. Tuning Manager won't work with it. I don't have = any ISA slots available to re-install the old MidiQuest board. = Therefore, Tuning Manager is now a piece of expensive useless software = in my file cabinet. I can't edit my tunings but I can download the SAT II memory to my Midi = Data Filer I use in my keyboard rig. It at least provides me with a = backup of the data in the SAT II. You might discern that I am not happy with my purchase. =20 Del Gittinger, RPT Del's Music Studio, Marion, OH Piano Tuning & Service Electronic Instrument repairs including organs delgit@acc-net.com ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Newton Hunt=20 To: pianotech@ptg.org=20 Sent: Monday, September 27, 1999 8:05 PM Subject: Re: Accu-Tuner Midi Dean Rayburn developed and sold a MIDI data base program for the SAT.=20 COntact him and ask if he still has them available.
