Hello list, I'm restoring an old 1908 Tryber upright (a family heirloom) and I am missing the back half of the middle pedal. Rather than buy a replacement set, I was thinking I might try to weld the back half of an old junk pedal to the front half that I have, and then have all three pedals replated. Has anybody ever tried this half-and-half welding technique? If this idea sounds crazy, can someone suggest a reliable source for replacement pedals? I guess they don't have to be exactly like the originals, but it would be nice. --Paul
